ULD Management tailored for you

Providing smarter solutions for your passenger and cargo network

How it works

How does our ULD solution work

We work together to make sure we analyse your needs and provide the best and tailor made solution for your network, whether that's through our ULD pool or a hybrid, or dedicated, fleet.

Nine steps, one managed programme

Follow the journey your fleet takes once it joins the Unilode network — from the first handover to the monthly invoice.

  1. Step 1 / 9

    We take on your fleet

We buy the airline's ULD fleet and/or supply new ULDs, with digital tags installed from day one.

  2. Step 2 / 9

    We track every movement

We process ULD movement messages through our OCC and provide digital oversight of your fleet around the clock.

  3. Step 3 / 9

    We flex with your demand

We make sure the ULD fleet can be flexible and scalable up or down each month to meet demand.

  4. Step 4 / 9

    We hold your stock levels

We manage ULD needs to meet required stock levels 24 hours a day, all year round.

  5. Step 5 / 9

    We repair across the network

We repair ULDs across our global network to increase availability, save time and cut fuel costs.

  6. Step 6 / 9

We renew and grow the fleet

We continuously review and buy new ULDs for replacement and growth, including pallet nets.

  7. Step 7 / 9

    We lighten your carbon load

We can secure lighter ULDs, which along with our pooling model helps meet carbon emissions targets.

  8. Step 8 / 9

    We give you the data

We provide digital visibility through customer dashboards, so you can track performance yourself.

  9. Step 9 / 9

    We charge one clear fee

We transparently charge with no more capex. All of our services are provided with an 'all-inclusive' fee per month per ULD.
